Dr. Manoj K. Bahl, DDS
Owner and Founder, Excel Dental Studio
Advanced dentistry, grounded in compassion, precision, and experience.
Dr. Manoj K. Bahl believes that everyone deserves a confident, healthy smile. Known for his approachable style and easy rapport with patients, he has built Excel Dental Studio into one of Northwest Indiana’s most trusted dental homes. Whether a visit calls for professionalism or a few laughs, Dr. Bahl meets every patient where they are—combining advanced dentistry with warmth, humor, and genuine connection.
A proud California native, Dr. Bahl grew up on the West Coast, trained on the East Coast, and ultimately made the Midwest home. He graduated with honors in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, began dental school at the Ivy League Columbia University College of Dental Medicine at just twenty, and completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Bahl has completed extensive training through Spear Education, CEREC digital dentistry, and international implant programs in the Caribbean and Latin America. His expertise includes implantology, CAD/CAM, 3-D printing, Invisalign, and full-arch “Smile-in-a-Day” (All-on-X) procedures. Over the years, he has restored thousands of smiles with artistry and precision, often treating multiple generations within the same family. Many patients have been with him for decades—kids who grew up, brought their own families, and referred their friends.
A former President of the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, Dr. Bahl continues to mentor younger dentists and refine his leadership through ongoing education and coaching. Since acquiring and rebranding Excel Dental Studio in 2011, he has maintained the legacy of a location that has offered dentistry for more than a century. Today, his team pairs leading-edge technology with a calm, welcoming environment and a five-star staff known for genuine kindness and care.
Dr. Bahl has been recognized as a Top Dentist and honored for Excellence in Community Service. Outside the office, he enjoys travel, dining, music, and sports—especially the Lakers, Bulls, and classic hip-hop playlists. He and his wife, Dr. Sakshi Bahl, an optometrist and fellow practice owner, share a love for good food, family adventures, and time with their twins, Ronin and Siana.
